Effect of CE, VVE, or CE-VVE combination on the mRNA expression of proinflammatory cytokines in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. (a) Cells were cultured in six-well plates and were pretreated with CE, VVE, or CE-VVE combination (200 mg/mL) for 3 h prior to LPS (500 ng/mL) treatment for 9 h. Total RNA was isolated, and mRNA expression levels of IL-1β, IL-6, iNOS, and COX-2 were analyzed by RT-PCR. (b) All results (n = 3) are expressed as the mean ± SD, , vs. LPS-stimulated cells.
