Chemical Composition and Insecticidal, Antiplasmodial, and Anti-Leishmanial Activity of <i>Capparis spinosa</i> Essential Oil and Its Main Constituents

<div>Antiplasmodial effects of various concentrations of CSEO and its main components, methyl isothiocyanate, hexadecanoic acid, and limonene, against chloroquine-resistant <i>P. falciparum</i> K1 strain based on the Malstat method. Among the main components of CSEO, the highest to the lowest antiplasmodial effect was observed in methyl isothiocyanate &gt; hexadecanoic acid &gt; and limonene. Data are presented as the mean ± SD (<i>n</i> = 3).</div>
