Ameliorative Effects of <i>Humulus japonicus</i> Extract and Polysaccharide-Rich Extract of <i>Phragmites rhizoma</i> in Rats with Gastrointestinal Dysfunctions Induced by Water Avoidance Stress

<div>Effect of HJE and PEP on acetylcholine- and serotonin-induced colonic contractility in WAS rats. The effect of 10-day pretreatment with 5 mg/kg of loperamide and 0.25 and 0.5 ml/kg of HJE and PEP on acetylcholine-induced (a) and serotonin-induced (c) motility in WAS rats.
