The mean preterm incidence after appendectomy is 10.4 ± 5.381 weeks; 50% of preterm labor observed between 31 and 35 weeks period; all abortuses were detected just before or immediately after appendectomy; 50% of the abortions occurred in the 1st trimester and 50% in the 2nd trimester. W: week.
