Cytochrome P450 102A2 Catalyzes Efficient Oxidation of Sodium Dodecyl Sulphate: A Molecular Tool for Remediation

Table 1

Kinetic parameters of CYP102A2 using SDS and NADPH as substrates. Steady-state kinetic measurements were performed at 37 in 0.1 M potassium phosphate buffer, pH 7.2. All initial velocities were determined in triplicate. The kinetic parameters and for NADPH were calculated by nonlinear regression analysis of experimental steady-state data using the GraFit (Erithacus Software Ltd.) program. The value, , and the Hill coefficient, , for SDS were determined by fitting the plotted versus substrate concentration to the Hill equation using the GraFit (Erithacus Software Ltd.) program.
