Reusability studies using silica immobilized lipase for ester synthesis. The silica-bound lipase with optimised molecular sieves at 55°C was used to achieve esterification of isopropanol (100 mM) and acetic acid (75 mM) in n-heptane at 55°C in repetitive cycles of 9 h each under shaking.
