Role of Electroencephalography in Presurgical Evaluation of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy

Bipolar anterior to posterior montage with 10–20 system showing 1–1.5 Hz temporal intermittent rhythmic delta activity (TIRDA) over the right temporal region (arrows) with maximal amplitude over anterior temporal region. Patient was a 42-year-old man with refractory CPS, right MTS, right temporal IEDs, and right temporal CPS (VEEG recordings). He was rendered seizure-free with right TLY and remained seizure-free at 2-year followup (LFF 1 Hz—HFF 70 Hz).
