A clear thermal inversion can be seen as soon as the reservoir units are crossed (i.e., −500 m a.s.l. for Alfina002 well, −1,050 m a.s.l. for Alfina015 well, and −2,000 m a.s.l. for RAI01 well). This agrees with the stepped shape of the measured deep temperature profile of Alfina015 well and supports the hypothesis of a highly convective behavior of the reservoir.
