MicroRNA-429 Modulates Hepatocellular Carcinoma Prognosis and Tumorigenesis

Association between survival and miR-429 expression in 138 HCC cases receiving curative treatment. According to the average expression in cancerous tissues, miR-429 expression was divided into two groups: low expression group (relative level ≤ 2) and high expression group (relative level > 2). MiR-429 expression was associated with tumor reoccurrence-free survival (a) and overall survival (b) of HCC. Cumulative hazard function was plotted by Kaplan-Meier’s methodology, and value was calculated with two-sided log-rank tests. Relative hazard ratio (HR) and corresponding 95% CI of high miR-429 expression (compared with low expression) were calculated using multivariable cox regression model (including all significant variables).
