Comparison of MIA (mini-incision appendectomy) and LA (laparoscopic appendectomy) according to postoperative complications, cosmetic results, and total hospital costs. The results showed no significant difference between MIA and LA, except total hospital costs. Total hospital costs of LA were higher by 58.7% when compared to MIA.
