Differential Effects of Three Techniques for Hepatic Vascular Exclusion during Resection for Liver Cirrhosis on Hepatic Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury in Rats

Figure 4

Effects of different techniques for hepatic vascular exclusion during resection on TNF-α and NF-κB protein levels after hepatic I/R in rats. (a) TNF-α levels in the PR, HH, and WH groups. TNF-α levels in the PR group were significantly higher than those in the HH and WH groups (); (b) protein levels of NF-κB. The NF-κB protein level reached a peak at 6 h after reperfusion in all three groups, and NF-κB levels at this time point in the HH and WH groups were significantly lower than those in the PR group (), but did not differ significantly from each other.
