A Single-Institution Review of Portosystemic Shunts in Children: <i>An Ongoing Discussion</i>

<table>MELD/PELD scores of the patients with significant liver dysfunction. Significant liver dysfunction in this study was set at a MELD/PELD score of 15. Three patients (patients 4, 6, and 10) had significant liver dysfunction before shunt. Two of the three patients saw a significant improvement in liver function post shunt.</table>
