<table>Protective effect of exogenously applied MeJA on cotton against fusarium wilt caused by<i> Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vasinfectum</i>. Prior to inoculation, leaves were treated with MeJA 5.0 mM and were incubated at 72 h (0 day) at 25°C for 38 days. Disease severity was evaluated by noting every two days the stem height (a) and diameter increase (b) as well as the number of healthy attached leaves (c).
