Huygens and ray traced SRF curves by direct scanning the Monte Carlo design. The area differences of the two modeled profiles are between 0.9% and 1.2%. Between 10−2 and 10−4, diffraction effect is dominant, while below 10−4 or 10−5, scattered lights are dominant but Huygens method fails to include the scattered lights.
