Process of GSEC.

(1) Assume the selected group index 𝑖=1

(2) Connect the 𝐿_𝑅 RF chains to the 𝑖th group receive antenna elements, estimate the channel matrix of the 𝑖th group 𝐇_𝑖

(3) Calculate 𝛾=tr(𝐇_𝑖𝐇_𝑖^𝐻), compare 𝛾 with 𝛾_Th,

  the examined group flag 𝑘=1

(4) Do while 𝛾<𝛾_Th and 𝑘<𝑁_𝑅/𝐿_𝑅

 𝑖=mod(𝑖+1,𝑁_𝑅/𝐿_𝑅), 𝑘=𝑘+1, do (2) and (3)

(5) End Do while

(6) Transmit data, use 𝑖th group receive antenna elements to receive data.

(7) Go to (2).
