Day and Night GSH and MDA Levels in Healthy Adults and Effects of Different Doses of Melatonin on These Parameters
Figure 2
Day and night variation in malondialdehyde content in red blood cells after in vitro treatment with melatonin. The points (□) and (■) represent the effect of melatonin in diurnal and nocturnal blood samples, respectively. Significant variation was observed in diurnal-treated samples (), the response being pronounced at nanomolar doses. MDA content is expressed as nanomoles per millilitres of packed RBCs.
