Effect of NAC on ZnPP- or rottlerin-induction of HO-1. PC-3 cells were treated with nothing (control); 10 mM NAC (5 h); 10 μM ZnPP (5 h); 2 μM rottlerin (5 h); 10 mM NAC (1 h pretreatment) plus 10 μM ZnPP (5 h); or 10 mM NAC (1 h pretreatment) plus 2 μM rottlerin (5 h).
