Enzyme kinetics of wild-type 17β-HSD1 and Cys¹⁰Ser mutant. The reduction of various concentrations of estrone (10 to 800 nM) to estradiol was measured in cell lysates from transfected HEK-293 cells in the presence of 400 μM NADPH. The data were normalized according to protein expression and represent mean ± SD from four independent experiments measured in triplicate.
