Soft Tissue Stability around Single Implants Inserted to Replace Maxillary Lateral Incisors: A 3D Evaluation

Table 1

Soft tissue contraction around single implants inserted to replace failing/nonrestorable (test group: immediate implant placement in postextraction socket) and missing (control group: conventional implant placement in healed ridge) lateral incisors. The assessment of soft tissue contraction was performed via calculation of the Euclidean surface distances between the 3D models, after the superimposition of S2 on S1, in mm, over a 2-year period.
