Exendin-4 Protects MIN6 Cells from t-BHP-Induced Apoptosis via IRE1-JNK-Caspase-3 Signaling

Exendin-4 inhibits t-BHP-induced aptosis via JNK signaling pathway. MIN6 cells were preincubated with exendin-4 (100 nM) or with SP600125 (10 nM) for 18 h and then exposed to t-BHP (25 μM) for 1 h. Representative western blot images revealed the expression levels of phospho-JNK and total JNK protein (a); phospho-c-JUN and total c-JUN (b). The histogram shows the quantification of the protein data. Levels of phosphorylated protein were normalized to the levels of total protein and expressed as the relative fold change compared to the control samples.
