Perturbations of cellular GRK2 levels affect MCH-mediated internalization of MCHR1. BHK570 cells were transfected with VSVg-MCHR1 and either GRK2 or K220R GRK2. Cells were treated with 1 M MCH or vehicle for 30 min and internalization was measured utilizing a cell-based ELISA. for control; for GRK2; for K220R GRK2. Ave ± SEM plotted. Experiment reached the 90% confidence interval but did not reach statistical significance.
