Habitat composition in the breeding territories of cross-fostered yearling pied (a) and collared flycatchers (b) as compared to the breeding territories of their foster parents and genetic parents on Öland, Sweden, 2002–2009. Both pied and collared flycatcher recruits returned to breed in a habitat different from their genetic parents.
