Effect of various combinations of perborate and sulphuric acid concentrations on the maximum power density (28.2 mW cm−2) of the MLSPBFC at room temperature. The fuel mixture for variation of oxidant is ([fuel]: 2 M formic acid + 0.5 M NaOH, [oxidant]:  M perborate + 0.5 M H2SO4) and the fuel mixture for variation of sulphuric acid is ([fuel]: 2 M formic acid + 0.5 M NaOH, [oxidant]: 0.1 M perborate +  M H2SO4). Stream flow rates: 0.3 mL min−1.
