In the original paper, the axes in Figure 1 were mislabeled. The corrected axes have stomatal conductance on (a) as 𝑔_𝑠 (mol m⁻² s⁻¹) and maximum photosynthetic rates measured as 𝐴_max (μmol m⁻² s⁻¹) on (b) as shown in the corrected figure below.
