The economic values are expressed in terms of gross benefits to NTFP producing households, based on a mean July 2015 exchange rate of USD 1 = TZS 2 077.05 [55]; a unit of head load for firewood and thatch grass was equivalent to 16.55 ± 3.33 and 14.12 ± 3.19 Kg, respectively.
