Gene expression profile of CpHSP70 (a) and CpHSP90 (b) after PCB treatment, respectively. Total RNA was extracted from C. polykrikoides at 24 h after treatment with 0.05 mg L⁻¹, 0.1 mg L⁻¹, 0.2 mg L⁻¹, and 0.5 mg L⁻¹ of PCB, respectively. The 18S rRNA gene was used as the internal control to normalize the amount of templates in qRT-PCR. Results are given as the means of triplicate ±SD.
