Whole-Genome Sequencing and Comparative Genome Analysis Provided Insight into the Predatory Features and Genetic Diversity of Two Bdellovibrio Species Isolated from Soil

Figure 1

Molecular phylogenetic analysis by a maximum likelihood method using 16S rRNA gene sequences. The evolutionary history was inferred by using the maximum likelihood method based on the Kimura 2-parameter model with 1000 bootstrap replications. The percentage of trees in which the associated taxa clustered together is shown next to the branches. Initial tree for the heuristic search was obtained automatically by applying neighbor-joining and BioNJ algorithms to a matrix of pairwise distances estimated using the maximum composite likelihood (MCL) approach and then selecting the topology with the superior log likelihood value. The analysis involved 20 16S rRNA gene nucleotide sequences. Evolutionary analyses were conducted in MEGA6 [19].
