(a) depicts time difference between the fast and slow shear wave arrivals from the December 2008 zero-offset dataset. Alford rotation analysis (using (1) as criterion) on the December 2008 zero-offset VSP data (b) and 2C rotation analysis on the March 2008 zero offset VSP data (c) suggest that the fast shear wave polarization direction is approximately 134 deg.
