Inferring Hydraulic Pressure Changes from Induced Seismicity Observations: Three Showcases from Geothermal Reservoirs

(a) Injection rate, (b) wellhead pressure, and (c) daily rate of induced events as a function of time during the main stimulation of Paralana-2. Time window is restricted to 10th-17th of July 2011 when the surface stations of the seismic monitoring network were in operation. Injection was terminated on 15th of July 2011 after injecting a total volume of approximately 3,100 m3 [17]. Seismic activity continued after the injection period. Hydraulic data taken from daily operation reports. Note that the time basis of hydraulic data reported by Albaric et al. [17] and Hasting et al. [18] seems to be partly inconsistent with the daily operation reports.
