Sild-Met-Leu effects on liver inflammatory marker in mice. Mice were fed a low-fat (LF) diet or high-fat atherogenic (HC) diet for 6 weeks and then randomized to the indicated treatment groups for an additional 6 weeks. Gene expression of (a) interleukin- (IL-) 1 beta, (b) tumor necrosis factor- (TNF-) alpha, (c) monocyte chemotactic protein- (MCP-) 1, and (d) plasminogen activator inhibitor- (PAI-) 1 was measured in liver extracts.
