Table 1: Among all studies published in Chinese language of this meta-analysis, we summarized their study objectives and the main results for 869T/C polymorphism. In detail, transforming growth factor-beta 1 gene 869T/C polymorphism was genotyped in Chinese populations. The genotype and allele frequencies of this polymorphism was listed and the odds of developing hypertension for the 869C allele (869CC genotype) carriers was documented with regard to those with the 869T allele (869TT genotype).
