Nanomedicine: Opportunities and Challenges in Diagnostics and Disease Management

Call for Papers

Nanomaterials exhibit unique physicochemical properties that open windows of opportunity for the creation of new and high performance products. Nanotechnology has been employed in various sectors of medical science and technology. Recently, a number of drugs employing nanotechnology have been tested for treatment of some diseases. As a result, nanomaterials can have a significant influence on the manufacturing, delivering, and bioavailability of the drug. Recent applications of nanotechnology in treatment of diseases and drug delivery have included the development of nanosized drug delivery and coating nanomaterial for biosafety and bioavailability. Nanotechnology not only has improved the delivering of drug but has also improved its selectivity and specificity for certain organisms or tissues. The World Health Organization (WHO) has put many rules for testing the new drug or testing a new methodology for diagnosis of diseases.

We invite scientists from technologically advanced countries to share original research articles and review articles (especially highly cited scientists) in order to help new scientists to understand and contribute to this interesting field.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Nanosensor for diagnosis of diseases
  • Nanotechnology for drug delivery
  • Nanocomposite material for coating and treatment of diseases
  • Nanomaterial as antiagent for danger microorganism for human
