Signal output as measured at the 1000 Hz centered 1/3 octave band was approximately equivalent at 73 and 74 dB SPL for the unaided and aided conditions. However, noise levels in the same 1/3 octave band were approximately 26 and 54 dB SPL, demonstrating the significant change in SNR.
