(a) The electrode is prepared for electrochemical testing by passivating the nanowire array onto a glass substrate with epoxy. The active material is isolated with epoxy, and conductive copper tape is used to establish electrical connection. (b) The cell is tested electrochemically using a Gamry Ref. 600 with a 3-electrode setup vs. Ag/AgCl. The counter electrode is platinum.
