The rate of C2C12 myoblast cell alignment. When an electrical load was applied under the present conditions, cells tended to align perpendicular to the electrical field. The rate was 58 ± 14% (Electrical). In contrast, the rate of aligned cells along the direction of the mechanical force was 100% (Mechanical).
