Internal peptide detection in SCC-25 cells after 6 hours. SCC-25 cells were plated at 104/0.5 mL in chambered slides and incubated with HN-1 (b) and scr-HN-1 (c) for 6 hours, followed by washes with PBS, fixation in 4% PFA, DAPI-staining, and visualization in a fluorescent microscopy at 200x original magnification. (a) represents control cells. By the incubation with scr-HN-1 only very few cells showed intracellular localization, mainly at site of cell-cell adhesions. Bars: 100 μm.
