Ginsenoside-Rb1 Induces ARPE-19 Proliferation and Reduces VEGF Release

Effect of different concentrations of Rb1 on cell viability with increasing time. Cells were seeded at 20,000 per well on Day 0. The cells were treated with 0, 0.25, 2.5, 25, and 250 nM concentrations of Rb1, respectively. Cells were collected at 24, 48, and 72 hrs. Viable cells were counted using methods described previously. Media was unchanged within the 72 hr experimental period. Results indicate mean viable cell counts ± SE .
