Zeta potential of a PEM film made from PAH and from PSS from a Tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane buffer at pH 7.4 containing 5 mg·mL−1 of each polyelectrolyte. The glass substrate was first covered with a layer of poly(ethylene imine) (PEI) aimed to produce a stable anchoring layer. Results plotted from the data of reference [29]. The structure of the repeat unit of each employed polyelectrolyte is indicated.
