Dorsally Comminuted Fractures of the Distal End of the Radius: Osteosynthesis with Volar Fixed Angle Locking Plates

(c), (d) Adequate reduction was achieved and open reduction and internal fixation of the fracture was done with volar locking plate and a K wire. (e), (f) Radiographs at the final followup showing union of the fracture. The locking plate was able to hold reduction till consolidation.
