Effect of estrogen receptor antagonism on KiSS-1 gene overexpression neuroprotection against amyloid-β toxicity. PKiSS cells were pretreated with the estrogen antagonist tamoxifen (TAMOX: 10 μM) for 2 h prior to exposure to Aβ 1–40 (10 μM) and determination of viability by MTT reduction.
