The training vector of a pixel is extracted as long as its neighborhood is within one texture area. The neighborhood of pixels 𝑃₃, 𝑃₄, and 𝑃₅ includes more than one texture, and the corresponding feature vectors are excluded from the training set. 𝑃₁ and 𝑃₂ have the entire neighborhood within one texture region, and hence, the corresponding feature vector is included in that texture's training set.
