Behavioural characterization of animals treated with saline or phencyclidine (PCP) for 5 days followed by 2 days of washout. (a) PCP treatment significantly decreased the percentage of correct alternations. . (b) Distance moved across the 10 min session. For the first 5 min, PCP animals moved significantly less than saline animals, but there was no group difference for the second half of the session. (c) Groups did not show any differential preference for a particular arm or zone of the Y-maze.
