Gel electrophoresis analysis of PCR products of cardiac specific genes of experiment set 2 shows that 5-azacytidine treated (10 μM and 20 μM ) hDMSCs were positive for α-cardiac actin, β-myosin heavy chain, and cardiac troponin T, while untreated cells were positive for α-cardiac actin and negative for β-myosin heavy chain and cardiac troponin T.
