The Mre11 Cellular Protein Is Modified by Conjugation of Both SUMO-1 and SUMO-2/3 during Adenovirus Infection

Degradation of the Mre11 cellular protein over the time course of Ad5 infection was analyzed in HFF cells infected with Ad5 and E1B 55 kDa mutants. Cell lysates were prepared at the indicated times postinfection for analysis by Western blot with antibodies directed to E1B 55 kDa (2A6), Mre11 (12D7. GeneTex), or actin (AC-40. Sigma).
