Data Transformation Technique to Improve the Outlier Detection Power of Grubbs’ Test for Data Expected to Follow Linear Relation

With new transformation technique, Grubbs’ test on is capable of identifying the outlier with significance level of 0.01. However, Grubbs’ test on is capable of identifying the outlier with even significance level of 0.05.
