Variational Inequalities and Vector Optimization

Call for Papers

As very powerful and important tools in the study of nonlinear sciences, variational inequalities and vector optimization have attracted so much attention. Over the last decades, variational inequality and vector optimization techniques have been applied extensively in such diverse fields as biology, chemistry, economics, engineering, game theory, management science, and physics.

The aim of this special issue is to present new approaches and theories for variational inequalities and vector optimization problems arising in mathematics and applied sciences. We invite investigators to contribute original research papers as well as review papers that will stimulate the continuing efforts in the theory, methods, and applications of variational inequalities, vector optimization, and related problems. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Numerical methods for variational inequalities, variational inclusions, equilibrium problems, fixed point problems, and optimization problems
  • Well-posedness, sensitivity, and stability on (vector) variational inequalities, (vector) optimization problems, and (vector) equilibrium problems
  • Equivalence among (vector) variational inequalities, fixed point theorems, and (vector) optimization problems
  • Existence of (approximate) solutions for (vector) variational inequalities and variational inclusions
  • Optimality conditions and duality theory for (vector) optimization problems
  • Applications of variational inequalities and optimization in game theory, economics, engineering, transportation, management science, and so on
