The Viking Age barrage discovered in Kerteminde Fjord in 1996. The barrage appeared as a 70–80 m broad acoustic anomaly. This consisted mainly of the relatively coarse sediments that had been deposited around the poles of the structure, which in itself was not more than 10 m across. Graphics produced by Grøn.
