1The Normal driving logic will only be possible if all conflicts between vehicles and active modes are separated, e.g., by separate phases in a traffic signal. 2It is questionable to what extent drivers would accept the Rail-safe logic driving in shared space due to the high “politeness” of the driving logic and the resulting low speed. Thus, it might from a traffic simulation point of view be more reasonable to assume manual driving.
