Age-Dependent Cancer Risk Is Not Different in between MSH2 and MLH1 Mutation Carriers

The five horizontal blue lines indicate the risk for each of the 5 groups as shown in Table 1. For the youngest group, the risk was evaluated to zero. For the other four groups, the vertical line is placed at the median age and indicates the 0.68 confidence interval for the evaluated risk. The red curve shows the risk evaluated assuming that it follows a modified Weibull distribution as a function of age. The two flanking dotted graphs indicate the 0.68 confidence interval of this evaluation. The age at onset of the risk is evaluated to 28 (0.68 confidence interval = 25–32 years).
