Synthesis of oximes 4a–e and hydrazones 5a, b. Reagents and conditions: (i) NH₂–OH/AcONa/EtOH, MWI, 100 W, 90°C, 2 min, 80–88% yield. (ii) NH₂–NH₂ (99%) or NH₂–NHPh/EtOH/AcOH (catalytic amount), MWI, 100 W, 90°C, 30 sec, 86% and 94% yield, respectively.
